BOYOUNG METAL has been producing cast iron casting products for 40 years since 1982. Their main products are automobile parts such as diff cases, calipers, and carriers. In addition, they are developing and producing heavy equipment parts, eco-friendly automobile parts, and industrial automation parts. Reducing the defect rate of products from 8% to 3%.

 They had several difficulties while operating the manual pouring process on their automatic molding line. First, it was difficult to secure skilled employees, and their frequent turnover had a significant impact on production quality. Second, it was difficult to manage the pouring time when the employees changed, so there was much unstable quality. Ultimately, they decided to change their existing factory to a smart and clean factory to improve the workplace environment. In this situation, they chose Sinto’s automatic pouring machine, and all the above problems could be solved at the same time.
 The best thing after the installation of the automatic pouring machine was that the working environment improved as the workplace became clean. In addition, now anyone can do the pouring work which used to be reserved for skilled workers, and it has become work that they want to do. They also realized remarkable cost reduction such as reducing molten metal costs and manpower costs, stable operation without unexpected shutdowns, and reduction of the defect rate of products from 8% to 3%. In particular, the problems of manual pouring, which were pointed out during regular quality audits conducted by customers, were solved clearly. “It was a great decision to bring in Sinto’s automatic pouring machine,” they stated.
 Until now, they thought it would be difficult to build an automatic pouring process due to their lack of experience. The automatic pouring machine was much more sophisticated and faster than manual pouring by an operator, and seeing that an identical quantity of molten metal was poured into the molds per second, they immediately considered the introduction of the equipment. Most importantly, since Korea Sinto is located in the same area, there was trust and belief in the follow-up support for the automatic pouring machine.

 As an exit strategy for the recently stagnant domestic automobile industry, BOYOUNG METAL plans to expand their overseas export of defect-free products manufactured based on Sinto’s FVN automatic pouring machine to leading foreign companies. This is the result of increased pride and confidence in the quality of their products after operating Sinto’s automatic pouring machine.
